Yasiru Epsa is a Certified Heritage Interpreter endorsed by the Galle Heritage Foundation, passionate about bringing the rich history of Galle Fort vividly to life. Growing up, epsa learned to swim at the centuries-old jetty and roamed the Fort’s streets with his school friends, developing an intimate connection to its lanes, courtyards, and stories. With a father who is an architect, he also cultivated a keen eye for design and structure, allowing him to appreciate the Fort’s architectural treasures in extraordinary detail.
With a passion for storytelling and a talent for uncovering hidden treasures, Epsa turns every walk through Galle Fort into an unforgettable journey through time. His heritage tours reveal the Fort not merely as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but as a living, breathing monument where the stories of explorers, traders, and empires come vividly to life
